Data as of 18 October 2026 — the post-15 October tree

Tree data is Wowhead's datamined Forever dataset (dv=30), pulled 18 October 2026. It carries the talent changes of the 1 October beta build (70170) and the 8 and 15 October notes, and was spot-checked against Blizzard's beta development notes.

Our live-client check (C_Traits node walk, build 70450, 17 October 2026 — the 15 October build) matched every visible talent's name, rank count, spell ID and position; two Frost Mage talents Wowhead had swapped are corrected to the client. On 24 October 2026 we rendered every tooltip from the client’s own tables for the latest build (1.60.1.70532): 50 of 52 Druid talents read exactly as shown here, and where the client differed its text is used. The rest are marked Not client-checked, with the reason in the tooltip — usually a figure that depends on your level or stats.

Talents where sources disagree carry a Disputed flag.

Recommended levelling path B C

Feral (Cat, with bear on hand), 0/38/13 (Balance/Feral/Restoration) at 60

Warcraft Tavern's Forever Druid Leveling Guide says Feral cats have the smoothest levelling route and to 'stick with the kitty cat'; it calls its Balance build 'a lot weaker for leveling than Feral'. Wowhead's Feral level-30 guide publishes a 'Hybrid/Leveling' build and Icy Veins' Feral guide has its own levelling section. Cat gets Prowl and Shifting Power (Mana into Energy) for low downtime, and bear covers emergencies and dungeon tanking.

  • Source tier B — verbatim reporting or hands-on testing: B Levels 10–30: sourced. A published Forever level-30 build, in its own pick order.
  • Source tier C — provisional or placeholder data: C Levels 31–60: derived. No Forever source published past the beta's level-30 cap, so these steps are the classic levelling build for the spec, fitted to the current tree.

At level 30, the beta’s cap (21 points): Balance 0 / Feral Combat 21 / Restoration 0. At 60 (51 points): Balance 0 / Feral Combat 38 / Restoration 13.

  1. 14 Ferocity 5/5: cheaper Maul/Claw/Rake/Swipe. Bear Form from the level-10 class quest.
  2. 20 Cat Form + Prowl (class quest). Start Shredding Attacks. Polearms trainable.
  3. 23 Feral Charge (bear-only charge and interrupt).
  4. 25 Shifting Power (row 4, needs Shredding Attacks 3/3): use it in cat below 50 Energy.
  5. 30 BETA CAP: 21 points, Leader of the Pack reached. Same as Warcraft Tavern's level-30 Feral build.
  6. 31 Savage Fury 2/2, which unlocks Primal Bite as an option.
  7. 36 Improved Shifting Power 2/2: Shifting Power every ~8 s instead of 16 s.
  8. 40 Berserk (31-point, needs Leader of the Pack). Dual Talent Specialization and riding at 40 per Warcraft Tavern.
  9. 42 Rend and Tear 5/5 (+10% melee damage on bleeding targets; keep Rake/Rip up).
  10. 47 Primal Bite for bear. Feral done at 38 points.
  11. 57 Naturalist 5/5: +5% all damage (Resto row 2, gated by Furor 5/5).
  12. 60 Natural Shapeshifter 3/3: cheaper shifts and a cheaper Shifting Power (its cost is reduced by shapeshift-cost effects).

The trees below show the whole plan at level 60: a badge gives the level of each talent’s first point, and the rank readout shows the ranks planned.

Notes

  • Legacy “Talented”: the Legacy perk can unlock talent points up to 5 levels early. This path assumes you do not have it; with it, take each step up to 5 levels sooner.
  • Dual spec at 40. Blizzard’s class deep dives give Dual Specialization at level 40 for every class.
  • Not fully client-checked: Shifting Power (L25). The client confirmed their names, ranks and positions; a figure in their text depends on your level or stats, or the client data is incomplete (the tooltip says which).
  • Levels 10-30 are Warcraft Tavern's order exactly (tier B). Wowhead and Icy Veins swap Heart of the Wild 3 for Feral Instinct 3 (Swipe and stealth), take Savage Fury 2/2 earlier and add Primal Bite. Take that variant if you plan to bear-tank dungeons while levelling. Levels 31-60 are DERIVED (tier C). The method is the old vanilla Feral levelling consensus (deep Feral to the 31-point talent, then Furor and Naturalist in Resto) remapped onto the dv=29 tree and re-validated on dv=30. Tiger's Fury and King of the Jungle are gone, so the energy talents are Shifting Power and Improved Shifting Power. Furor in Forever banks Energy for your next return to Cat Form (+10/sec out of cat, up to 100). The derived path skips the tank-only talents Thick Hide, Natural Reaction, Brutal Impact and Feral Instinct. With dual spec at 40, make the second spec bear (Thick Hide 3, Natural Reaction 5, Feral Instinct 3, Primal Bite) or Restoration for groups. Weapon: shapeshift damage scales with weapon DPS, so take the highest-DPS two-hander (staff, mace, or polearm from 20). Before 20, Spell Power helps (Thorns, Wrath). Legacy 'Talented' perk: points arrive up to 5 levels early (26 at 30). Icy spends the extras on Improved Shifting Power and Natural Instinct, Wowhead on Improved Shifting Power and/or Leader of the Pack. All picks are client-checked except Shifting Power, whose client tooltip is incomplete (its numbers come from the spell data).

The rail down the left is the points you must already have spent in that tree to unlock the row. The talent itself then costs one more. The pips under each name are its rank track — four pips means four ranks — and the N/M readout beside them is the same thing in text. On a path talent the filled pips and the readout show the ranks the path puts in it by level 60 (or by the level you pick in the slider above). Arrows are prerequisites and point from the talent you need to the talent it unlocks.

Hover, tap, or tab to any node for its full effect text, every rank, and its prerequisite. Nothing here is hover-only: the same text is in the page for screen readers, and the table under each tree carries all of it without JavaScript.

What the beta tested: level 30 Source tier A — official Blizzard or live client data: A

The beta was capped at level 30 from 1 October until it closed, which gives 21 talent points (points = level − 9). That reaches a row-5 talent — the ones whose rail reads 20 pts — including the new 16-point “gold medal” row. At level 20 you have 11 points, enough for a row-3 talent and nothing beyond.

On the recommended path those 21 points go 21 into Feral Combat — every one of them sourced (tier B).
