First Aid is a secondary profession every character can learn. How to train it, the cheapest way to level it, and every recipe: where it is learned, what it costs, what it needs and what it makes.

Overview
Pays no Legacy Points (only the six crafting primaries do). Its materials are mostly cloth.

| First Aid Kit | 20 | +Stamina (3/8/21/34/45/56); does not stack with Power Word: Fortitude | 1× Refreshing Spring Water, 3× Linen Bandage | Trainer · 1 |

Levelling route, 1 to 300
Our route: at every skill point, the recipe with the cheapest expected materials per point. It uses the recipes you start with and trainer recipes, and buys a vendor recipe only when it saves more than it costs; it skips recipes with a cooldown and specialization recipes. A recipe always gives a point while orange; from yellow to grey the chance falls in a straight line (Classic’s rule), so “About” counts the expected crafts. Prices are our launch-day estimate (from the beta auction house; see its page for the method). The route uses only vendor recipes that anyone can buy: one sold only in one faction’s zones (judged from the vendor’s zone in the client’s map table) or behind a reputation is noted as a cheaper option, not assumed. A material nobody priced but someone crafts is costed at its own materials. Source tier D: D

Shopping list
Everything the route uses: about 206 at our launch-day estimate, 19 of it from 1 to 225 and 188 from 225 to 300 (vendor recipes included, training not). Of the 75 points from 225 to 300, the route takes 0 from trainer recipes, 55 from vendor recipes and 20 from recipes it cannot assume. Using the cheaper recipes the route notes but cannot assume (drops, reputation, one faction’s vendors), 225 to 300 comes to about 84 instead.
